IAAIL updates

Dear IAAIL members,

With this message, I would like to inform you all about the venue of ICAIL 2019 and of the 2018-2019 IAAIL executive committee.

Venue ICAIL 2019: Cyberjustice Laboratory, University of Montreal

We thank all those who expressed interest and put forward bids for hosting the 2019 edition of the ICAIL conference. The 2017-2018 IAAIL executive committee (led by Katie Atkinson) has carefully examined submitted bids. We are happy to announce that the 2019 conference will be organised at the Cyberjustice Laboratory, University of Montreal (director: professor Karim Benyekhlef). More information about the laboratory can be found at www.cyberjustice.ca/en/laboratoire/presentation. Karim Benyekhlef will be general chair of the conference, Floris Bex program chair and Anne Gardner secretary/treasurer. By the efforts of this excellent team, we can look forward to an inspiring new edition of the biennial ICAIL conference series.

IAAIL executive committee 2018-2019

As per January 1, two members have left the executive committee: president Katie Atkinson and member-at-large Ken Satoh. Many thanks for your service!
